Providence/ St. Joseph Health: Government Programs Dashboard
THE PROBLEM:
Improving healthcare quality means keeping track of data, and lots of it. In order to update and re-design an enterprise application for the largest non-profit healthcare system in the US, I worked with the product and development team to implement a new design system and improve the quality of the user experience.
The Solution
Working with internal stakeholders and end-users, we assessed the state of the existing application and developed user flows to understand and ease the work processes. We then developed several iterations of the product design, and worked side-by-side with the development team to implement front-end solutions .
THE APPROACH
In collaboration with our stakeholders, we developed requirements, tested prototypes, and worked iteratively to re-design the product for their needs and work styles. We developed user flows, personas, and prototypes of increasing fidelity. Working with the development team, we built the components of the application in line with our design system, so that our work can be re-purposed across other enterprise applications.
